Job description
We are looking for a Learning Specialist to join our Bauer Academy team in the UK.

This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced trainer and facilitator to design and deliver work-based learning solutions for our people across Bauer Media Group as well as a range of high-profile external clients. We provide training in the areas you’d expect of one of Europe’s largest media companies including leadership and management, coaching, creativity, innovation storytelling and wellbeing so you should be a confident generalist, able to facilitate a wide range of training solutions that help learners to acquire, retain, and ultimately apply new knowledge and skills as well as confidently work with a variety of client groups.
Supporting our Head of Partnerships and Programme & Design Director, you will work with clients to identify training needs and co-create innovative solutions whilst also delivering established programmes remotely and face-to-face. Through effective programme management and design expertise, this role ensures Bauer Academy’s training provision is world-class. This role collaborates to ensure all programmes and projects deliver impactful work-based learning provision - improving individual performance and creating vibrant learning cultures.
This role supports the development of new business opportunities, with targeted client management, and the commercialisation of training content.
Role Responsibility
Provide high quality curriculum design for internal and external learning and development programmes, with an emphasis on work-based learning cultures.
Support co-creation services including bespoke design for internal stakeholders and external clients with creative training approaches, always aligned to Bauer Academy values.
Manage a variety of training projects, including ad hoc talent development programmes, events, and summits.
When required, provide excellent client management, including relationship building to support growth of new business
Contribute to Train the Trainer activities and Best Practice Sessions, aligned to specific individual / team needs, and emerging educational trends.
Support the commercialisation of Bauer Academy training content, with entrepreneurial ideas, business plans and marketing campaigns
Keep up to date with educational trends to ensure compliance and best practice is embedded within all design work.
Keep up to date with evolving and emerging job roles across the creative sector internationally, with detailed updates on future training needs and trends.
Grow and maintain high level knowledge and expertise across multiple subject areas, including leadership and management, coaching, multimedia storytelling, advertising, digital upskill.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree-level qualification, ideally within media or education disciplines. Coaching qualification desirable.
L5 Teaching Qualification and / or CIPD is desirable, but not essential
Demonstrable passion for work-based learning, with skills evidencing innovative approaches
Strong expertise in educational practice
Strong sense of initiative, with excellent project management skills and the ability to promote process improvement
Experience within the creative sector is preferable, ideally within a multimedia company
Highly collaborative with exceptional inter-personal skills and the ability to influence others
Excellent project management skills, with outstanding attention to detail and a relentless commitment to best practice
Evidence of commercial acumen and entrepreneurship is essential
Location & Flexible Working
With multiple office locations, we are happy to accept applications from those based across mainland Britain but please note occasional travel will be expected due to the role requiring successful candidate to be available for face-to-face facilitation as and when required (particularly London).
