Duty Manager
Inspired by Denmark Street’s rare hustle, Chateau Denmark brings together creative expression and fine architectural detail to present something fierce. Across 16 buildings, session rooms and apartments capture a spirited independence in a neighbourhood steeped in cultural heritage.
With 55 rooms and apartments along a street where the Sex Pistols once lived, the Stones recorded their debut album and Bowie and Hendrix all hung out - if the walls here could speak, you'd be hooked.
We are searching for
An outstanding Duty Manager to join our team at Chateau Denmark. Duty Managers are the team of teams who look after everything. Contributing and driving the little and large details that make the guest experience. As the ever present back bone of the entire show, you'll embody the culture of Denmark Street and Chateau Denmark. A step further than problem solvers, you’ll be a solution driven individual that in some instances will thrive under adversity - but also have enough foresight to see down the road for any challenges that may arise.
They’ll connect with not only Chateau’s teams but also the wider district’s team, where their ideas will be valued. You'll bring the whole team together and in some cases orchestrate and facilitate, at Chateau Denmark, Duty Managers are the golden thread that bring everything, and most importantly, everyone together.
As a Duty Manager, you are the spirit and soul of Chateau Denmark ensuring that the team continue to deliver a unique guest experience that we will become renowned for. Your limitless energy and passion will lead the team as they hustle to create unique moments for our guests to love. With a natural curiosity you will seek out new legit ways to exceed expectations and build memories that our guests will remember long after they have gone.
Your profile
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability and drive to build relationships with internal and external Stakeholders.
- Being organised and proactive in managing tasks.
- Passionate for creating an exceptional guest experience.
- Being an excellent team player and have an outstanding communication and guest facing skills.
- Relevant experience in a 5 star property.
- Excellent IT skills and numeracy.
- Project always a positive and joyful attitude.
- Display a passionate, fun, and enthusiastic approach to work.
Your role
- Communicating plan that sets out the objectives, goals, progress.
- Foster and promote good working relationships across all departments.
- Encourage team development to drive engagement and efficiency within the team.
- Ensure all legal and company regulations and policies are followed to safeguard the team, our business, and the wider company.
- Set expected behaviours and the required performance level.
- Coordinate and communicate with wider district’s security officers.
- Oversee, control, monitor and analyse service and quality standards.
- Performing and communicating night audits.
- Oversee revenue and cashing up processes.
- Tracking and reporting maintenance issues to the relevant department.
