Job description

We are a privately run care home who prides ourselves on delivering high standards of care to 20 residents living with Learning Disabilities.

· NVQ Level 2 / 3 required. Clear DBS required.

· To look after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a person centered approach.

· To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends and other stakeholders.

· To provide personal care and support to Clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses and disabilities.

· To assist Clients getting up in the morning and going to bed at night, to wash, bath and shower.

· To assist Clients to dress and undress, also look after their skin, teeth, hair and nails, continence management and personal hygiene.

· To attend regular and necessary training and staff meetings.

· Shifts are either 7am - 3pm 11am - 7pm or 7am to 7pm.

· Suitable candidates would be required to work weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

Health and social care NVQ level 2 would be an advantage or an equivalent qualification

Must have at least 1-year experience working in Health and Social care.

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff temperatures are taken daily, Weekly Covid Testing and all Government guidelines adhered too. You must have a weekly covid test at work and be willing to come in every Monday to complete it.
