About the Trust

The Trust is one of the largest specialist mental health providers in the country, providing inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and addiction services across Greater Manchester, the northwest of England and beyond.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Responsible for dealing with telephone enquiries from staff, service users, carers, wards and other departments and agencies.

· Monitor own performance against agreed objectives as identified in the appraisal process.

· Ensuring general tidiness of the reception environment.

· Responsible for communicating effectively, professionally, and effectively to both patients and other members of staff, always.

· To be conversant with functions of the Paris system in relation to updating demographic details, scanning and any other admin duties relevant to the role.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.

· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.

· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· System knowledge – PARIS (desirable)

· Experience in a similar role

· Excellent IT skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

· Excellent organisation skills

· Microsoft package knowledge – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
