Job description
Company Description
We are a market leader in the design and delivery of tailored face-to-face and online experiential leadership and team development training solutions. We are passionate about creating real behaviour change for our customers.
Job Description
Due to expansion, we are seeking an experienced leadership development training facilitator who aligns with our organisational values and has the right mindset to listen to the customers’ requirements and design and deliver tailored development solutions to achieve those outcomes.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering leadership and team development modules for a range of organisations across a variety of sectors as well as through a range of modalities. You will be a facilitator working with decision-makers and senior leaders, therefore it is essential that you are able to build trusting relationships with customers and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You’ll be a confident and credible facilitator who creates a lasting impression on delegates. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about providing ‘lightbulb moments’ and capable of delivering constructive feedback to delegates to create sustainable behaviour change.
It’s desirable for candidates to have accreditations in profiling tools (e.g. Belbin, Insights, MBTi) and recognised leadership development programmes. Previous experience in a senior commercial role is preferable, but not essential, to deliver executive coaching. An interest in the outdoors and its ability to create experiential learning opportunities is also desirable.
This role has flexible working conditions. There will be a blend of home-working combined with regular travel to our two outdoor centres. The role will include travel to customer sites across the UK and potentially international travel. We will consider part-time and job share options.
Key Responsibilities
· Successfully facilitate leadership and team development training both face-to-face and virtually
· Design bespoke training modules in line with customer needs
· Discuss customer requirements with key stakeholders and provide a consultative and supportive approach
· Operate as a support tutor as required by specific customer needs
· Work collaboratively with our sales and marketing approach by delivering webinars, attending customer meetings and supporting on content development
· Actively seek new business opportunities and partnerships for the organisation
About the company
We are passionate about staying true to our guiding principles:
· Make a positive difference to individuals, teams and organisations that participate
· Be flexible in our approach
· Be experiential - help individuals and teams to learn by doing
· Touch emotions in a positive way
· Be memorable - take away and remember learning
· Make it fun
Our unique offering goes beyond typical learning and development packages and includes bespoke content, renowned licensed learning and development theories as well as critical opportunities for practical application of the theory and reflection exercises to maximise learning transfer and create tangible results through a range of modalities.
We own and operate two outdoor centres, in Reading and Burton-upon-Trent, purpose-built for leadership and team development. We use the outdoors to take people away from their day-to-day comfort zone and create practical opportunities for people to bring theory to life and test new skills before applying them in the workplace.
