Venture is the UK’s largest Family Portrait Photography business with studios across the UK, in the US and Hong Kong.
The Cardiff studio in Roath has been a fun and creative place to work since opening in 2002.
Job Responsibilities:
The job involves creating rapport and consulting our customers before you photograph them in our studio. Also includes editing and retouching the images, and then showing the customers the images in our cinematic preview room. You’ll then guide and advise them as to what will suit them best, based on their interior and budget requirements.
We are looking for someone who:
- is Experienced in studio portrait photography
- is proficient in Photoshop and Light-room
- can work well in a team and under own initiative.
- has a “can do” attitude and great interpersonal skills.
- is great with kids as well as grownups.
- is a generally lovely person who likes working hard and has a passion for photography.
Must be available to work Wednesday to Saturday every week. Minimum of 32 hours per week in total (FOUR 8hr days a week). The role will start as 4 days per week but can develop into more after training is completed and if you or the studio requires more hours.
It's essential that you already have experience in photography (It doesn't have to be studio work), but training will be given to reach the high Venture standards. However, you must have a reasonable understanding of DSLR cameras and Photoshop.
Starting salary £21,700 p/a pro-rata plus monthly bonuses. Starting salary and progression depends on experience/qualifications.
