X3 - CRU Scanner Operator
Menzies Distribution are looking for 3 CRU Scanner Operatives to join our team providing a first class service with our team in Belfast working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers.
What You Really Want To Know:
- Position A - Hours of work are - Monday - 6am - 12noon - OFF Tuesday - Wednesday - 6am -11am Thursday -Friday & Saturday - 6am - 12noon
- Position B - Hours of work are - Monday - 6am -12noon - Tuesday - 6am - 11am - OFF Wednesday - Thursday - Friday & Saturday - 6am - 12noon
- Position C - Hours of work are - Monday - 04.30am - 10.30am - Tuesday 6am - 11am - OFF Wednesday - Thursday - Friday & Saturday - 6am -12noon
All roles - 29hrs per week. - PLEASE ALSO NOTE PUBLIC TRANSPORT IS AVAILABLE OUTSIDE DEPOT!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Ensure customer returns are processed accordingly
- Some heavy lifting with stockroom duties
- Scanning of overstock into stockroom
- Carry out stock inventory
- Carry out stock movements
- Deal with publisher requests and returns
- Locate over-stocks, enabling efficient compiling of customer orders.
- Check the quality of packed orders.
- All stockroom duties.
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy.
- Adhere to company procedures and policies.
- Unload, load, sort and scan deliveries
WHAT YOU NEED
- Positive ‘can do’ and hardworking approach to work
- Appetite for supporting colleagues
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Computer literate
- An ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines
- Good communication skills
- A FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential
