Job description
We are looking for a Delivery driver/General Assistant to join a friendly team. The role would involve helping to pack, lift and carry heavy laundry bags from our office to our van, delivering and then swapping laundry bags at our properties. You will also assist with minor maintenance tasks and property checks, examples of which would be checking and changing lightbulbs, fixing locks, blinds, curtains poles, hanging pictures, checking wifi, and heating and hot water are working so that the property is always guest ready.

Who Are you?
The role would suit an experienced driver who has had a full driving licence for at least 10 years with a maximum of 6 points of your licence, so you can drive our company vans.
You will also have your own smartphone, be able to use WhatsApp & have a basic level of computer literacy so you can access out system for guest check in and out details.
You will be dealing with Management, cleaning and laundry staff both face to face and via digital communications on a daily basis.
Ideally (but not essential) you would have experience in B&B's, hotels or serviced apartments before
Can you Drive?
You will be driving a company van daily as your main role, therefore you must be an experienced driver who has had a full driving licence for at least 10 years with a maximum of 6 points of your licence.
What will my working week look like?
A minimum of 40 hours per week from 10am until 6pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday as your days off. You will be required to work every weekend.
Pay and benefits
Salary £25,000 per year payable monthly, annual business performance based bonus scheme, company pension, paid overtime, friends and family discounts, property referral bonus scheme and 28 days holiday per year (including days in lieu for bank holidays).
Public and bank holidays are normal working days for us (excl. Xmas day), whilst you can take these days off, you will use your holiday entitlement to do so.
Start date
Ideally, the successful candidate would be able to start as soon as possible, depending on their notice period with current employers.
