Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an L&D Consultant to join our L&D Team on a permanent basis. The role operates in a predominantly remote capacity and will involve occasional travel to our offices.
The role
Reporting to the L&D Manager, this role is responsible for providing a high quality, commercially focused Learning & Development services through designing and delivering appropriate development activities that support the delivery of the L&D strategy. There is opportunity within this role for someone to have a real impact on Railpen’s culture and performance, enabling our people to achieve their full potential through career planning, learning and development.
The person
We are looking for someone who can deliver on organisational, departmental and individual development requirements and develop learning and development plans, projects and initiatives. Focussing on the design, delivery and evaluation performance focused resources. You will have a proven track record of evolving a Learning Management System (LMS), providing an excellent user experience. Being ‘future-focused’ and up to date with the direction of travel for L&D (e.g. digital, marketing) is also key to ensure our learning interventions are ever-evolving.
The successful candidate will be passionate about developing colleagues across Railpen and comfortable in actively seeking and encouraging feedback. You will have a creative flair to enable your training design and delivery to be highly engaging whilst delivering to key objectives. You will be comfortable presenting to various sized audiences in person and virtually, ensuring your training sessions are impactful and relevant.
