Job description
On a day-to-day basis, you will be working as a member of a five-person team across four organisations to increase the use of Apprenticeship programmes to ensure maximisation of the organisations levy funds. Recommendations and career pathways identified and commissioned must meet organisational and training needs that have a high impact and proven return on investment to make the release of staff worthwhile to the busy directorates within the organisations. It will be the strategic analysis, outstanding recommendations and exemplar stakeholder engagement that will lead to your success within this role.
For any internal applicants this role will be offered on an acting up or secondment basis.
What will you be doing?You will provide excellent customer service with focus on strategic use of Apprenticeships to develop “Grow our own”, succession planning, self-development, talent management within designated Directorates you will be supporting.
You will manage stakeholders to ensure collaborative working, clear communications and partnership working with HR colleagues, change managers, Assistant Directors and other learning and development colleagues.
On a regular basis you will conduct Training Needs Analysis, maintaining records of needs, ensuring completion of actions plans and monitoring return on investment as a result of actions completed.
About youYou will be customer focussed, with outstanding presentation skills and clear communication abilities both verbally and written. You will be highly organised in being able to serve multiple customers on a daily basis while ensuring timely customer service is received to progress training needs forwards and ensuring the satisfaction of training provided to your customer.
You will certainly be a team player liaising with procurement and contract management colleagues, HR partners, Change Managers as well as Assistant Directors all within your portfolio of stakeholders. Your ability to work across all levels of the organisational structure is paramount.
Essential to success will be your ability to work smartly and remain focussed.
