Job Title: Learning and Development Analytics Internship
Location: Hybrid - Reading, Berkshire office
Role Type: 12 Month Contract Full-time Monday – Friday 0900-1730
About this Opportunity
This is a university sandwich placement, although we are open to considering those who have recently graduated.
We seek to hire a Learning and Development Analytics intern who can transform learning data into valuable insights and shape the future of learning in Ericsson. We are looking for someone that is passionate about data as well as about how people learn to help us create analytics solutions that will help move up the value chain toward predictive and prescriptive analytics.
You will work closely with the Head of Learning analytics and collaborate with Learning consultants across the world as well as data experts in the People Analytics team.
You’ll get the opportunity to:
Build, develop, and maintain statistical models, dashboards, and other visualisations to support key business decisions in the L&D area.- Design insights (learning and development) by gathering requirements from stakeholders and transforming them into interactive and engaging visualizations or reports
- Build and deliver custom reports, including our annual skills report, and presentations powered by data visualizations and storytelling.
- Run experiments in the areas of ML as well as correlating learning data with other areas to answer concrete business questions.
- Input to the overall Learning and Development analytics strategy to democratize data
Key Skills Required:
Is exploring new technologies a passion of yours? Are you comfortable communicating and working with multiple colleagues? Do you know your way around an Excel spreadsheet and have the ability to manage multiple projects? Do you question things, enjoy being resourceful and thrive in an environment that promotes a collaborative spirit?
- Currently working towards or recently (2018 onwards), graduated from a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in analytics, digital business or similar
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI (from studies, hobbies and/or work experience)
- Knowledge of Advance Excel such as VBA and macros
- Strong programming skills including coding experience in the use of R, Python, (preferential not essential)
