Job summary
The States of Jersey Ambulance Service is looking to recruit to the post of Leading Ambulance Paramedic to join our team.
The applicant must be able to direct, control and monitor the daily operation of ambulance crews, responding to the needs of those who require transport for medical reasons, urgent unscheduled or emergency medical care (999 calls). Ensuring appropriate cover is provided to meet service and statutory obligations. Liaise with the Combined Control Centre to assist in the delivery of emergency responses.
As a highly experienced practitioner and member of the ambulance crew, provide primary medical care to patients by the use of paramedical skills in order to prevent further deterioration, promote recovery and prolong life. Collaborate with colleagues across the States of Jersey.
- Qualified Paramedic with HCPC registration.
- Demonstrable evidence of practice within at least the last 12 months.
- A current full and clean manual driving licence including categories C1
