Job description
The Women and Children's Division are looking for a highly motivated Data Clerk to join our very busy team.
Effective communication skills with high attention to detail are essential for this role as is flexibility to the needs of the service . Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential. Experience in a hospital environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Maintaining an accurate database for our CYP Diabetes and CEW program within the Women and Children's Division at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals using the Twinkle database
Prepare for NPDA data submission
Data entry and retrieval from databases /core clinical systems
Liaise with professionals in the CEW & Diabetes clinics to help facilitate proper recording of clinical information
Produce accurate reports regarding the CEW & Diabetes service as and when required via the Twinkle database
Take messages and telephone calls from staff, patients, relatives and other liaison with internal and external departments or organisations and deal with their enquiries, referring on where required, providing reports and correspondence and arranging out patient appointments if required
Liaise with Consultants, Nurse Practitioners, General Practitioners and other Health Professionals as required to ensure a seamless service is provided to our CYP utilising LTHTR services
Taking of meeting minutes
Responsible for completing work accurate in a timely manner consistent with departmental practice or protocol
Work in a manner consistent with Trust and local policies and procedures, protocols etc
