Are you passionate about driving organisational growth and developing leaders? We have an exciting opportunity for a Leadership Development Manager to join our clients team. As a key member of their Culture and Leadership Development department, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering people and organisational development strategies.
About the Role:
- Design and implement leadership development programs to enhance the capabilities of their workforce.
- Align all development activities with our clients organisation’s values, behaviors, and leadership framework.
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation to identify development needs and facilitate interventions to support cultural change.
- Evaluate performance management requirements and ensure that their leadership programs meet the highest standards.
- Create and review organisational development programs to meet the needs of individuals and the organisation.
- Conduct diagnostic work to assess the existing state of the organisation and plan development interventions accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and Leadership Development:
- Develop and implement programs to improve leadership capabilities within their organisation.
- Ensure alignment with their values, behaviours, leadership framework, and national guidelines.
- Identify development requirements and deliver interventions to support cultural change.
- Career Path Development and Performance Appraisal:
- Evaluate and enhance performance management systems and tools.
- Establish clear expectations for individuals and teams, supporting career development.
- Facilitate workshops to equip their leadership with effective performance and talent management skills.
- Talent Management and Succession Planning:
- Design and implement frameworks and solutions for talent pipeline and succession planning.
- Provide strategic consultancy to senior leaders, managing expectations and prioritising work.
- Lead workforce planning to understand talent gaps and future requirements.
- Future Workforce – Work Experience and Careers:
- Forge partnerships with educational institutions and youth organisations to promote career opportunities.
- Create meaningful work experience opportunities for young people and monitor their impact.
- Strategic Leadership and Service Development:
- Act as an ambassador for our clients organisation, promoting their mission, vision, and values.
- Participate in leadership development audits and reviews.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in leadership development or organisational development roles.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the public sector.
- Strong understanding of performance management, career development, and talent management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse data, exercise judgment, and make informed decisions.
- Passion for fostering a culture of speaking up and ensuring the safety of staff and patients.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
