This position sits in our Marketing Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands' business problems & drive revenue through a variety of digital marketing solutions like ad campaigns, augmented reality, and chatbots. Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.
JOB PURPOSE:
Creatives at DEPT® come up with ideas that capture audiences' attention, ideas that inspire behaviour change and that people want to share – not gimmicks, but campaign ideas that make a real difference to our clients' businesses. Our Creatives work with all areas of the business and are responsible for framing ideas grounded in strategy.
Our creatives are specialists in change, get bored easily and are proactive in looking for new solutions to even the oldest of problems. We need someone who understands our client audiences', who can put themselves in their shoes to create work that exceed expectations, who understands that brands are competing for consumers' attention and have at best a couple of seconds to inspire some sort of interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To produce great creative work collaboratively with the creative and design team
- Delivering on-brand on-brief work from within their client pod
- Collaborate closely alongside other Creatives and designers within their client pod
- Be hands on in delivering and driving ideas from within the creative team
- To report and escalate creative needs on a project by project basis to HO/CD
- Be aware of and respond to current advertising and media trends and pop culture
- Use your experience and ideas to contribute to the development of our creative process
- Present work internally and externally to an excellent standard
- Stay up-to-date with industry development such as NFTs, the Metaverse and new social platforms
- Come up with and present ideas that stand out from the crowd and will deliver against objective
- Research customer behaviour and trends
SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- Solid experience as a Creative at an agency or inhouse team at a midweight level
- Have created a broad portfolio of work
- Copywriting or art direction experience
- Experience with digital marketing, understanding its potential and its limitations
- Excellent creative presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain focused under pressure and work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work within a team as well as with clients
- A love for learning new things, platforms & mediums
