The role: The Lead Coach is responsible for supporting the Store Manager by taking ownership over the TRIB3 studio and coaches. Our Lead Coach needs to be a highly personable, have a strong understanding of brand, good organisation skills and the ability to upskill fellow coaches. The Lead Coach is responsible for the studio, studio timetable and product delivery; and in the absence of the Store Manager, the Lead Coach is responsible for the running of the store. The Lead Coach is expected to assist the Store Manager in driving day-to-day operations, this includes customer service, sales, and other front of house operational duties.

Role Specification

As the Lead Coach you will be responsible for the following:

Delivering The TRIB3 Workout

Deliver our next-level workout experience, reinforcing TRIB3’s ideology of Prepare, Sweat, Recover in each workout. As a coach, you are expected to:

  • Cue and correcting technique including coaching points and personal engagement
  • Connect with TRIB3Rs before, during and after the workout
  • Create a fun and safe environment for TRIB3Rs.
  • Deliver The Workout with confidence and energy – TRIB3Rs should leave the studio feeling they have had a next-level workout experience.

Studio & Timetable Management

  • Leading from the front and meeting the TRIB3 Workout standards, ensuring the above experience is delivered by all coaches and achieved at all times.
  • Ownership over the coach ROTA, managing cover, updating systems with new coaches’ details and ensuring freelance coaches are attending their regular slots on a weekly basis.
  • Supporting coaches with questions and advice should they need it.

Coach Management

  • Support the management of freelancer coaches, including recruitment on an ad-hoc basis
  • Lead the monthly coach audits and 1-2-1s with the support of the management team
  • Support TRIB3’s internal communications; ensuring every coach is well-informed about any updates or changes that may affect them

Customer Service & Sales

  • Assist the Store Manager in driving day-to-day operations, ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are met to deliver the highest standards.
  • Lead by example and provide outstanding customer service. Escalate and resolve customer issues and complaints when required.
  • Carry out other front-of-house operational duties.
  • Reinforce a sales ethos to deliver targets; support the Store Manager in driving strategies to engage TRIB3Rs with ancillary service lines like Mixology (protein shakes) and retail.

Behaviours, Required Experience and Qualifications

The Lead Coach will have:


  • Minimum Level 2 certification in fitness instructing or equivalent
  • Previous work experience in a management or leadership role ideally within a coaching environment
  • Strong social media understanding – the major platforms and the value each can offer from a marketing, brand and lead generation perspective
  • Work experience in customer service and/or sales role
  • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure and motivate teams is key
