A unique opportunity has come up in our Projects team for a Lead Business Analyst to join us! In this role, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders and executive directors across the organisation to create the vision and strategy to achieve the ambitious aims of our corporate plan centred on ‘Making what matters brilliant’.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, you’ll manage an established team of Business Analysts whilst leading analysis across a diverse portfolio of strategic business change/improvement projects, up to multi-million pounds in value – from business system implementations and upgrades to office refurbishments and business change, you’ll conduct analysis and facilitate discussions to shape ideas into viable projects. Importantly, you’ll coach and motivate your team to deliver effective analysis by role-modelling best practice business analysis using recognised frameworks (agile, waterfall, BSC) and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
You’ll join us at an exciting time as we develop our new five year corporate plan which you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of. Our ideal candidate?
- You’ll be an experienced Business Analyst with a track record of working on multiple, large-scale business change/transformation projects throughout the project lifecycle; working closely with teams within both a Waterfall and an Agile environment.
- You’ll have experience of or the ability to lead, develop and motivate a team of Business Analysts
- You’ll have demonstrable experience of partnering with a variety of stakeholders, including senior management/directors, across varying business areas such as frontline operations and corporate services
- Importantly, you’ll demonstrate a talent for not only absorbing detail, but understanding the big picture and different perspectives, with the ability to present this back in way appropriate to the audience to influence and gain stakeholder buy-in.
