Vital have an immediate requirement for a Stores Person at our Client's site in Dumbarton
Purpose:
Responsible for the storage and distribution of stock, at a Service Centre or Yard including:
- Shipping & Receiving
- Warehousing
- Order Packing
- Dispatch
- Maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles.
Key Responsibilities (list not exhaustive):
- Ensure receiving goods from supplier on timely basis
- Ensure all physical goods are stored in the relevant location.
- Assist in arranging storage of materials on receipt of orders.
- Ensure goods received are physically verified and receipted on system.
- Monitor levels on consumable, non-stock items
- Review daily incoming pick lists and ensure picking & packing of goods are distributed.
- Completion of quarterly stock counts and weekly cycle counts.
- Maintaining good housekeeping of central stores.
- Requisitioning stock to maintain stock levels and requesting stock adjustments when required.
- Responsible for loading & offloading shipments – Courier, Airfreight, Sea Freight and local receipts.
Counterbalance forklift is used on-site and although previous experience of operating one is desirable, Client will invest in in-house training for the right candidate.

Salary: £13.40-£20.10 per hour
