Job description

The practice has a multi-disciplinary team looking after a registered population. You will be working with an established practice team providing general practice services to the registered local population.

We are expanding our multidisciplinary team with allied health professionals working alongside GPs, Nurses, Paramedics and Pharmacists.

We currently employ PA’s and based on the positive experience and as part of our new service redesign we are looking for a further 2 Physician Associates to join our clinical multidisciplinary teams.

The post will be based within an established supportive local site team. All of our practices hosting PA’s and Advanced Care Practitioners.

We are looking for either PA’s with experience in General Practice or new graduates to participate in the preceptorship training programme.

We offer

· a named GP supervisor for each of your sessions and an overarching supervisor to support your ongoing training and development.

· a mix of appointments supporting triage and managing long term conditions to ensure wide exposure to variety and holistic care.

· Regular informal clinician meetings for peer support.

· Dedicated weekly Education, Management and Clinical MDT meetings both inhouse and within our local PCN.

· Monthly afternoon release to local learning events provided by the local CCG.

· Opportunity to develop new skills as your confidence builds.

· Opportunities for remote working.

· Opportunities for experienced PA’s to help shape and develop further PA team expansion including hosting PA students.

· Dedicated development time for experienced PA’s

· Participation in the PA Preceptor ship training scheme for newly qualified PA’s if eligible. Those who qualify will have weekly tutorials with their supervisors or other dedicated team members.

· In-house appraisals to plan and review your development.

· EMIS Web, Docman workflow management with a dedicated centralised back office team providing workflow optimisation and support.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-37.5 per week

Salary: From £45,000.00 per year
