Do you take satisfaction in seeing your recommendations implemented in the real world? Are you analytically creative and motivated by new challenges? Do you have a passion for working with data to drive insight and improve customer understanding?
When you join Nectar360 Analytics you will be using our large data set to provide world-class customer insights to help partners understand how we can personalise the customer experience and drive business impact. This role is a fantastic opportunity to apply your people and analytical leadership skills. The role reports into an Analytics Manager and is based at Nectar 360 (Holborn).

What will you be doing:

  • Working together with the Analytics Manager & key client stakeholders, you’ll be developing & working on an analysis plan that adds value to the Nectar Coalition Analytics Team. • You’ll take charge of day-to-day analysis and planning for your clients, leading negotiations/prioritisation of changes with internal/external stakeholders, whilst ensuring projects are seen through to completion according to your project plan. You must be able to look beyond the data to find relevant and actionable insights that are useful and interesting to clients.
  • You’ll take a pro-active role in delivering increasing analytical value to Nectar, such as improving process efficiencies and experimenting with new methods and data to enhance analytics.
  • You’ll be responsible for making your insight actionable; explaining complex analytics to non-technical audiences and making clear recommendations on how Nectar stakeholders should be using the insight you’re providing.
  • Role includes line management of one junior analyst role & the ability to support & develop broader cohorts of junior analysts across the wider team. Collaboratively developing project pipelines for the team whilst balancing partner & wider business objectives throughout is key.

What we would like you to have:

  • A university degree in a numerate discipline (or equivalent educational background), and ideally, an MSc in a numerate discipline (Mathematics, Statistics)
  • To be an experienced user of SQL and ideally R or equivalent. Previous experience of BI tools (e.g. Tableau or Business Objects) and/or AWS / Snowflake would be advantageous
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in working in the field of data analysis and customer insight
  • Proficient user of advanced Excel calculations
  • Prior experience of building propensity models and/ or customer segmentations advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills
  • Keen commercial awareness
