As a Credit Risk Manager within Unsecured Credit Risk, the key tasks you’ll be doing include: Ongoing review of all risk performance to identify emerging risks and judgment of the impacts of past strategy works; derivation of strategic responses to ongoing and emerging risks; management of relationships with internal operational & commercial business partners to ensure risk thinking is at the forefront of all business activity; management of external business partners with whom credit risk interact; people management to deliver upon agreed priorities.

Leading projects and work streams
Applying your ability to use industry leading analytical techniques and greater experience in providing solutions to complex and challenging business problems.
Working autonomously, requiring little guidance from management to complete complex work
Managing a team of analysts to deliver business objectives and providing them technical support.
What you’ll bring.
Successful track record in a retail credit risk role.
Experience of leading and delivering on multiple complex projects and initiatives.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Proven experience using statistical programming tools, particularly SAS.
Excellent understanding of the drivers of unsecured Retail lending product profitability.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience of successfully managing and delivering through a team of analysts within a risk department.

Our preferred location for this role is Milton Keynes and you will be expected to spend 40% of your time in this office. We would also encourage you to apply if you are in a reasonable travel distance of Bradford.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
£6,000 car allowance per year (remove for SLB roles)
