Job Purpose
Use your professional experience to inspire others
We are looking for passionate and experienced practitioners to inspire the next generation of lawyers. We pride ourselves on creating a fantastic place to work and study.
We welcome applications from all areas of practice.
Teaching Law at BPP
The introduction of new regulatory regimes for vocational training of both Solicitors and Barristers has provided much opportunity for integrating flexibility to our programmes. Our dynamic suite of programmes is carefully designed to be engaging, innovative and most importantly, to equip our students for practice. As such, we are looking for outstanding individuals to bring their professional experience to life and join us as a tutor.
If you’re looking to switch to a career as a tutor, the good news is that you don’t need previous teaching experience. We can help you develop the skills needed to be a great tutor, but what we need from you is the passion and drive to inspire others in your area of expertise. We are looking for highly motivated qualified solicitors or barristers with practice experience, who are excited by the prospect of using their professional expertise to develop careers in higher education.
The benefits of teaching Law at BPP
You will be provided with an unrivalled opportunity to teach across a range of different programmes at different levels and to different audiences. A teaching career with us is one of the most varied in the whole sector ensuring no two days are the same.
It’s also not just teaching – you’ll get the chance to:
Develop content and curriculum
Mark assessments
Provide pastoral support
Contribute to internal and external marketing, business development, outreach and employability activities
Hear from the people who work here
A career change can be a big step and we want to give you as much information as possible to make an informed decision.
We are hosting an interactive careers webinar where you can hear from our tutors and senior managers and ask any questions you may have.
This session relates to vacancies in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham across a range of subject areas.

Whether you are a qualified solicitor or barrister, we’d love to see you there!

On top of a competitive salary, we provide a generous annual leave entitlement of 30 days, and there’s a rewards package that includes retail discounts, Group Personal Pension Plan, dedicated healthcare and dental plans that offer additional assurance to look after you and your family.
