Position: Wills & Estates Law Clerk (5+ years experience)
We are seeking an experienced Wills & Estates Law Clerk to join our growing team on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable, adaptable, and confident in handling various wills and estates matters.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Wills & Estates Law Clerk
- Experience in additional practice areas (Real Estate, Business, or Family Law) is a plus
- Hybrid work environment; occasional in-office work in Toronto as needed
- Strong understanding of estate planning, administration, and litigation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Communicating with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties
- Assisting with estate administration and probate matters
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
