We have an exciting position available on a great team for a Law Clerk with 2 or more current continuous years of experience in litigation, preferably insurance defence.

To be successful in the role you will be familiar with all areas of file management from opening to trial.

The Law Clerk will be comfortable with scheduling and other administrative tasks including preparing medical summaries.

This is a hybrid remote role with in office and work from home days and therefore requires you to be within commuting distance to downtown London - (50 km or less)

To be successful in this role:

· You will enjoy the challenge of the intricacies of the files as no two files are the same

· You pride yourself on your accuracy, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and your ability to manage your time in an environment of change and competing priorities

· You value a document management system as a digital tool to help you manage your day to day workload

· You are equally comfortable working independently as you are a member of a great team

· You have experience or a desire to learn about the administration of the practice including drafting correspondence, dictation, scheduling (mediation, examination for discovery, phone calls etc), court filings (through an online portal), drafting documents etc.

· You will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook

· You have a clear understanding of civil litigation procedures and the Rules of Civil Procedure

- You are within commuting distance of the office in downtown London

- You have current and relevant experience in civil litigation or insurance defence
