- Support the Firm’s lawyers and clients in preparing and completing registration applications and updates with the securities regulators
- Draft ancillary documents for investment fund filings
- Prepare applications for exchange listings (TSX, etc)
- Coordinate and complete filings on NRD, SEDAR and SEDI (and SEDAR+ once launched)
- Liaise with the securities regulators and SROs
- Work as member of a collaborative team assisting with overflow, urgent deadlines and back-up coverage
- 3-5 years of experience as a Securities Law Clerk
- Knowledge of securities laws, regulations and policies related to registration and investment funds
- Excellent knowledge of securities registrations/NRD registrations and good knowledge of SEDAR
- Strong work ethic; continuous improvement mindset and a self-starter in a fast paced environment
