As a IAG Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting participants to access the DWP Mid- Life MOT programme and progress in their journey towards secure retirement. You will have the tools, skillset and knowledge to advise and coach participants to stay in work longer and enjoy a more secure retirement through helping them take stock of their Work, Wealth and Wellbeing.
Based from either; employer premises, remotely or at an agreed suitable location, you will provide excellent customer service to participants, build & maintain relationships and provide Information, Advice and Guidance to individuals which is monitored through their personal progress. This will be achieved by;
Delivering both group and individual coaching sessions on Work, Wealth and Wellbeing.- Undertaking initial assessments, developing SMART action plans and conducting check-ins to monitor and review progress.
- Promote the DWP Mid- Life MOT programme to both current and future participants.
- Signpost to relevant additional support upon exit of the programme.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a motivational and passionate individual who has experience coaching and mentoring participants, with a background in assessing strengths and barriers to create a personalised action plan. You should have proven experience of successfully managing a caseload and providing empathy and empowerment to individuals.
Previous experience of working with the unemployed/recently employed having supported people with a range of barriers into work e.g., those with health conditions, skills needs, BAME communities, lone parents, those aged 50+ would be beneficial but is not essential.
Please note, this is a remote based role with requirement to travel across the North East region on a daily basis. Therefore, Full Driving license and own transport is essential. You may occasionally be required to complete some evening or weekend work due to employer and employee demand.
