Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and maintain inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Perform regular stock counts to ensure accurate inventory records and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and logistics departments to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery, ensuring the correct items and quantities are picked and packed.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to maintain high-quality standards.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to handle and move stock safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse.
- Assist with periodic equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations and prevent downtime.
- Provide exceptional customer service when addressing inquiries and concerns from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure work environment for all team members.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £150.00-£160.00 per day
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dorset: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
