About The Role

We are looking for a Building Labourer to join our team of talented people. You will assist in carrying out repairs, maintenance, waste disposal and general cleaning services at our properties. You will be working in the field covering the Plymouth area.

Purpose of the role:
  • Working alongside a Roofer, you will carry out a wide range of works to our properties.
  • You will collect and distribute all necessary materials and equipment required, ensuring all plant and tools are maintained and in clean order.
  • You may be asked to Work at Height.
  • You will liaise with customers appropriately and promptly.
  • You will act as an ambassador for LiveWest.
  • You will observe and comply with policies and procedures for Health and Safety at Work.
This is a full time opportunity although part time (minimum 30 hours per week) or job share may be available.

About The Candidate

To be considered for the role of Building Labourer, you will:
  • Have a positive, can do attitude.
  • Have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently.
  • Have experience working in customers properties (D).
  • Hold a full, valid UK/EU driving licence (this will be checked with the DVLA).

You may have experience or an interest in the following: Multi Skilled, Responsive Repairs, Reactive Repairs, Operative, Maintenance, Engineer, Social Housing or Housing Association.
