Job description

Our value-added facility in Lisnaskea, Co.Fermanagh is hiring a Human Resources Manager to join the team.

Contractual Hours: Monday to Friday 08.00 am to 16.45 pm.

Reporting to the General Manager, the right candidate will be responsible for employing the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, and that training and development opportunities are available to employees to enhance performance. The HR Manager will also ensure that all employees are satisfying all Health & Safety requirements.

Some of the main responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and induction
  • Ensuring company’s procedure comply with employment regulations
  • Monitoring time attendance and employee performance
  • Handling disciplinary process and formal grievances
  • Develop, advise, implement and review HR policies and procedures
  • Understand Company objectives, devise and implement policies that select, develop, train the right staff required
  • Staff training and development
  • Managing company appraisal system and conducting appraisal meetings
  • Establish, manage, and monitor provision of emergency procedures, first aid facilities, safety signs, relevant protective clothing and equipment and incident reporting to the relevant authorities
  • Ensure workplace satisfies Health, Safety & welfare requirements
  • Ensure all internal operations and systems comply with required legislation

The successful candidate will ideally:

  • Computer Literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills with the ability to communicate to all levels in the organisation
  • Demonstrate ability to work under pressure
  • Highly organised and approachable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable and discreet with the ability to handle sensitive HR Information
