Carmacks is getting ready for our 2023 season! If you are someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to work with a dedicated crew that values safety and hard work, we are looking to hear from you! Carmacks Enterprises Ltd. We are currently seeking Mowing Labourers for our Maintenance Division based out of Calgary, AB. This position will be for the upcoming 2023 season, starting immediately and ends September 30. Shift schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional weekends as required.
What is the role?
The Mowing Labourer is part of a dedicated crew responsible for providing mowing and trimming services along Deerfoot Trail and Northeast and Northwest sections of the Stoney Trail.
- Works with the Supervisor and the CMSL Team to complete work required to meet expectations, standards and, timelines outlined in contracts and agreements at or below costs
- Deals with the public in a courteous professional manner.
- Participates in training to operate new equipment
- Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner; identifies maintenance required
- Ensures equipment is working and operating in a proper fashion, and completes any repair requests required with the appropriate paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
