We are looking for experienced Groundworkers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the housing and civil construction industries including maintenance of roads, buildings, and other structures. This includes drainage, grading, kerbing, paving, monoblock, concrete floor, foundations and utilities. The ideal candidate should have a wide range of experience with the ability to read drawings preferred but a good work ethic is the most important.
Responsibilities:
- To lead a team of three including labourer and machine op.
- Follow safety protocols when operating machinery and tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents.
- Use hand tools and power tools to construct roads, bridges, and other structures.
- Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, grading, and levelling.
- Lay concrete foundations and pavements.
- Install drainage systems and water pipes.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £14.00-£19.50 per hour
