In this role you will work as part of a highly collaborative microbiology team within our Research & Development function at Reading Innovation Centre. You’ll be working microbiology innovation and formulation development across a diverse range of P&Gs diverse Personal Health Care business portfolio within EiMEA or AMA market regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with R&D functions across broader technical community to support product development via generation of microbiological data

  • Execute microbial testing, data interpretation and input into microbial risk assessments

  • Execute probiotics testing

  • Support development of new microbiology-based technologies and capabilities.

  • Support advancement of microbial methods, models and work processes.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A passion for laboratory testing with either a degree in Microbiology or Life Science, or equivalent qualifications/practical experience.
  • Strong aptitude for good science; able generate and report high quality business relevant data.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; a proactive thinker who can anticipate future issues and propose and deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Well organised with good time management skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an aptitude for high quality technical writing. Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills – must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group of people from different functions, of different nationalities and at different levels within the company.
