In this role you will work as part of a highly collaborative microbiology team within our Research & Development function at Reading Innovation Centre. You’ll be working microbiology innovation and formulation development across a diverse range of P&Gs diverse Personal Health Care business portfolio within EiMEA or AMA market regions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with R&D functions across broader technical community to support product development via generation of microbiological data
Execute microbial testing, data interpretation and input into microbial risk assessments
Execute probiotics testing
Support development of new microbiology-based technologies and capabilities.
Support advancement of microbial methods, models and work processes.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- A passion for laboratory testing with either a degree in Microbiology or Life Science, or equivalent qualifications/practical experience.
- Strong aptitude for good science; able generate and report high quality business relevant data.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; a proactive thinker who can anticipate future issues and propose and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Well organised with good time management skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines across multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an aptitude for high quality technical writing. Proficiency in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills – must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group of people from different functions, of different nationalities and at different levels within the company.
