Job description

Tristel Solutions is a manufacturer of chemical disinfectants for critical infection prevention applications. With 10 offices around the world and counting, our first 25 years have seen rapid growth and a massive impact made within the infection control industry. Much of this impact can be attributed to our proprietary chemistry, chlorine dioxide (ClO2). To this day we are the only company in the world utilising ClO2 for medical instrument disinfection.

You will be joining the Research and Development team in a fast paced, dynamic role. It is the objective of R&D to understand and further develop the Companies chemistries, in order to maximise both their performance and safety profiles, whilst offering support to the Sales and Production functions.

Responsibilities;

  • Assist in coordinating the research and development of new products and ensuring materials selected are suitable for the intended application
  • Balance a range of different research projects at one time and be flexible in response to enquiries and meetings and sudden changes in priority
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Write technical investigation plans, reports and summaries for a range of audiences, both commercial and technical
  • Provide support to Quality Control and Technical Validation departments as required
  • Conduct market research within hospital disinfection, surfactants and biocides, and summarise in readable and informative technical documents
  • Confidently communicate with all levels of the business, including suppliers, customers and distributors
  • Contribute to meetings and presentations both in house and externally to showcase new developments and innovations

Requirements;

  • Accurate record keeping
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Knowledge of safe laboratory practice to GLP standards
  • Ability to execute controller documents such as test methods, SOP's, and technical reports

Desirable:

  • Laboratory bench level and data analysis experience

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a BSc in a relevant scientific background, or A Levels in science subjects with 2 years of industry experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £24,000.00 per year
