Salary £ 30,000 - £ 32,000 + well-compensated overtime
Hammersmith Medicines Research (HMR) is a specialist 145-bed clinical pharmacology unit, for early-phase clinical trials, in North West London. We have a state-of-the-art, accredited, multidisciplinary pathology laboratory handling samples from HMR trials and elsewhere. At present we have a team of 28 staff comprising of Biomedical Scientists, Laboratory Assistants, Scientists, Apprentices and Students. Due to expansion, particularly in our pharmacogenomic and biomarker services, we have vacancies for Laboratory Scientists to join our friendly team.
Ideal candidates must have a degree in science. Experience in analytical techniques such as HPLC, ELISA, flow cytometry, molecular and multiplex assays and registration with the Science Council will be an advantage.
The posts are full time, 5 days/week (37.5 hours). Some out of hour work, paid as overtime, is also required.
