Role
Software Engineer II
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle to ensure Non-Functional requirements are considered across the board
- Review product requirements, functional and design specifications and work with Business Analysts to determine and NFT requirements
- Ensure testing is carried out to quality standards and evidenced for audit
- Provide input to continuous improvement within the testing function and the wider IT function
- Produce testing documentation for new and existing applications/NFT processes
- NFT Defect management
- Work closely with project, analysis, architecture, Infrastructure, development and support teams
- Make sure that NFT testing has been carried out and signed off as fit for purpose to go Live for Volume Performance & Reliability and Availability aspects (V&P and R&A)
All about You/Experience & Skills
- 3+ years test experience
- Non-Functional test experience
- ISTQB Foundation Level
- Significant Test planning experience
- Strong understanding of Testing using the Agile process SCRUM methodology
- Experienced in using and creating JMeter & LoadRunner automated scripts
- Strong Analytic skills to aid in load profiling and investigation of performance issues (Good problem solving)
- Experience using a range of Performance and Load testing tools for Execution, monitoring and analysis (JMeter)
- Programming language – C# & JavaScript
- Experience working in teams of testers
- Ability to work within high pressure situations
