PG Assist is a specialist managed service provider and we provide laboratory, admin and misc. support services for a large, highly respected blue chip company, who create branded goods and services across the Globe.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our forward thinking and dynamic organisation in a laboratory based role. Due to the nature of this work, there is no opportunity to work from home.
Description of work:-
- Provision of analytical data, to check products are on specification.
- Analysis of developmental products using physical and chemical test methods.
- Analysis of sample stability.
- Analysis of samples using various analytical systems, both manual and automated.
- Analysis of perfumes and products containing perfume.
- Support and maintenance of labs and equipment.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- A strong science background/education. (wet chemistry, chromatography, spectroscopy)
- Good record keeping essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience working with IT systems and software.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
- The ability to work independently and deliver towards deadlines.
