Job description
As a Senior Business Development Executive your primary focus will be to increase the market penetration of Google Cloud products within businesses across the UK. You’ll be highly motivated to generate new business leads and to make a significant impact within a fast-growing business.
Reporting into the Google Partnerships Lead you will be responsible for the generation of all new business leads as well as following up on potential prospects and identifying new opportunities.
You will be highly driven and motivated to develop your career, looking to develop your skills, knowledge and approach to the role. You will also need to be confident, resilient and have a creative approach to problem solving.
You will be working in a high performing B2B Sales Team, with the opportunity to increase your knowledge and skills quickly through ongoing training and development. As such, we would be keen to support you through a Sales Apprenticeship, which you'd undertake alongside your BD Exec responsibilities.
A few activities you'd be performing as a Senior Business Development Executive include:
- Identify target contacts within potential customers
- Book high quality meetings for customers to meet with our Sales Team
- Follow up on inbound marketing activity and leads
- Profile and prospect new accounts to pass onto Sales Team

What you’d bring
- 3-5+ years experience working within an inside sales role or new business/acquisition sales role
- Excellent people management skills and an ability to drive sales results
- Excellent communication skills - confident over all channels to communicate a message and find a hook
We don't live in the ideal world, so if you’re not familiar with some of the skills mentioned above, but are motivated to learn, then we would also like to speak to you.
If you currently perform some kind of similar role to a BD Executive, e.g. a inside sales, new business or acquisition sales position and would like to understand more about the responsibilities you’d have at CTS, then we can explore this on an initial call.
Location and flexibility
We will need you to be located within easy access of our central London office to ensure you can meet regularly (a few times a week) with the CTS team to collaborate and learn from each other. There might be some occasional travel to the head office in Manchester and to customer sites in the UK.
