Job description
Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider is an independent cider-making company, making premium award-winning ciders since 1880.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Laboratory Team for a Laboratory Technician.
The Laboratory Technician role involves working as part of an experienced team who are responsible for the quality checks of our range of premium ciders. Attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and focus on quality will be key attributes for this role.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key skills/experience:
- Previous experience of working within an analytical laboratory;
- Previous experience of working in an FMCG environment / within a similar industry;
- High attention to detail, excellent organisation and time management skills;
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team;
- Ability to build good rapport with internal stakeholders;
- Computer literate;
- Qualifications: A Level in Chemistry (or equivalent) is essential, a degree in Chemistry / relatable field (or equivalent) is desirable.
