Your Opportunity:
Raymond Laboratory/X-ray department in located in the Raymond Health Care Centre, located 30 mins from Lethbridge Alberta and 1 hour from the Coutts, Montana border. Raymond is staffed with and experience team of laboratory/x-ray professionals. Milk River, named for the milky color of the water, is the only Canadian river that flows south. Situated approx. 86 kms from Lethbridge, the Town of Milk River, (population about 830) has the essential amenities, K-12 schools, and provides a warm, welcoming "work family," at the Milk River Health Centre that prioritizes ongoing learning, collaboration, and mutual support. Magrath is a beautiful small town in Southern Alberta located approximately 40 kms from the City of Lethbridge and 20 kms from the larger town of Raymond Alberta. This site serves the town of Magrath and its surrounding area. This one-person site collects laboratory samples on outpatients as well as performs home collections for those patients who require it.
Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
