Role Title: KYC Quality Checker
Contract Length: 6 months
Engagement Type: Umbrella or PAYE
Location: Hybrid - Leeds / Glasgow (2 days per week in the office)

We are currently recruiting for a team of KYC QCs based in Leeds / Glasgow to support on a 6-month contract starting on 22nd May 2023
The day rate is inside IR35 and is very competitive in the current market.
The role of the KYC Quality Checker is to be responsible for quality checking cases completed by KYC Analysts and to feed back on areas of development to strengthen their knowledge base on policy, processes and procedures to ensure delivery of KPIs and team SLAs.
Deliverables
- Undertake quality control of KYC Analysts to minimise case errors and strengthen overall performance
- Feedback QC results to Analysts and Team Leaders
- Monitoring quality control and quality assurance results on a regular basis
- Identify individuals falling below the required benchmarks
- Maintaining awareness of the regulatory landscape and using this awareness to flag issues of importance to the department
- Reviewing and constructively challenging the department’s internal processes to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure Information Security risks are effectively managed in line with client expectations and work extensively with KPMG internal information risk and ITS teams to apply appropriate standards.
- Assisting Team Leaders in the construction and execution of quality related, informal and formal development plans
- Conducting ad hoc and pre planned coaching support to embed development
Essential Experience
- Proven KYC QC experience in relation to individual transaction monitoring
- Strong KYC knowledge – AML, PEP and Sanctions
- Excellent communication skills
- Articulate in both written and verbal communication
- IT literate, proven experience of a working knowledge of MS office- Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work successfully in a target driven environment
- Ability to handle conflict or challenges to decision making
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working in an operational environment
- Wider windows-based applications
- Experience of working in a financial environment
- Experience with vulnerable customers

You will be required to work on a hybrid basis from a KPMG office hub of your choice (listed below):

*Office connect days will be estimated at 2 days per week, however this may change dependent on business requirements.
