Job Specification
Mission – to assist in the delivery of the UK remediation programme implementing the FEC 2023 Policy on a branch-wide basis, covering all Know Your Client (KYC) related activities (FEC/FATCA/CRS/ESR). This also includes the normal flow of new and review files
The Global FEC Programme is of highest priority for the bank in 2023 and this role will require extensive interaction with a diverse group of business representatives.
Department Overview:
- This role sits within the London CDU
- The team is responsible for the execution of the KYC ongoing reviews in the UK as well as all BAU KYC related topics.
- The team act as a conduit for all new and review business in ING London. Direct communication with the business, and in some cases customers, is essential to the efficient completion of the KYC Process
- The team also look at event and time based triggers for materiality to the KYC file and will refresh where necessary.
- The team are guided by the Client Control function which will steer priorities. As a result close interaction between the London CDU and Client Control is essential. The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in this respect.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
The role is for a KYC Analyst within the ING London Processing Unit to assist with the delivery of ING UKs remediation effort as well as being responsible for the completion of BAU activities. This role requires a firm understanding of the Risk Based Approach as well as efficient working practices to ensure tasks are delivered with the minimum amount of delay.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Efficient handling and completion of KYC remediation and BAU KYC files
- Review of a number of KYC related initiatives such as FATCA, CRS, ESR applicable to certain businesses and customers
- Clear articulation of the requirements for KYC to the business or colleagues across the organisation
- Ability to manage a workload of files being worked concurrently in an efficient manner

Candidate Profile
Qualification/Education
Essential: 3 years previous KYC experience in a Wholesale Banking environment
Desirable: Graduate; relevant industry qualifications
Experience/Knowledge
Essential: KYC experience working with complex corporates
Desirable: Relevant industry qualifications, experience of KYC
