We are currently seeking skilled kitchen staff to join our team in our pub kitchen. The Halfway is a vibrant community pub with a reputation for serving delicious and hearty dishes made from fresh and locally sourced ingredients. As a member of our small kitchen team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to high standards and in a timely manner
- Following recipes and techniques consistently
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Stocking and ordering supplies when needed
- Assisting with menu planning and specials creation
- Keeping up to date with food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Experience as a line chef in a fast-paced kitchen
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Available to work weekends and evenings

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

- Cardiff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Line chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
