Job description
A Kitchen Porter’s primary role is to maintain and manage the smooth running of their section, regarding cleaning of all crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils, management of waste disposal, insuring strict health & hygiene standards and to troubleshoot any problems.
Duties
- To ensure work area is kept to a safe and hygienic state at all times
- To ensure all kitchen opening and closedown procedures are adhered to
- To be flexible & willing to help other departments at busy times if required
- To support colleagues at all times to ensure team work is maintained
- To attend all statutory training as & when requested
- To arrive at work at the correct time and in the correct uniform ensuring it is in an immaculate condition
- To maintain your personal equipment used to fulfil your job i.e shoes to the required standard

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour
