About The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen ensuring a high standard of hygiene at all times. You’ll assist with a variety of different sections in the kitchen. This will include monitoring stock and maintaining daily production levels. Assisting in the collection, storage and distribution of food products and kitchen deliveries will be part of your daily activities as well. This is also a physical role, which will involve heavy lifting and exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals.
