Located just 5 minutes from Horwich Parkway training station with 125 bedrooms and fully integrated into the University of Bolton Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club Bolton Stadium Hotel (formerly Bolton Whites Hotel) is a state of the art conference and exhibition centre with a difference, offering flexibility to hold meetings, events and exhibitions from 2 to 3000.
We now have an exciting opportunity for friendly and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for hospitality to join our friendly and customer focused team in supporting us to deliver seamless service experiences within our Stadium & Hotel Kitchen teams as a Kitchen Porter.
This role will include working shifts as and when required by the business.
Reporting to the Head Chef this is a key role within the kitchen team in which you would support the chef team in preparing kitchen for restaurant service, duties would include ensuring all crockery, cutlery and equipment is clean and ready for service, cleaning kitchen areas and equipment and operating the washing machines as well as moving equipment and food/stock supplies between kitchens as required and supporting chefs with basic food preparation.
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days and due to business hours would include evenings and weekends.
Experience in similar role desirable but not essential, but ideal candidate will be keen to learn, self motivated and able to work on own initiative, with the ability to organise themselves and their daily work tasks. Level 2 Food safety qualification preferred but training will be given.
