AG Hotels Group is looking for a dedicated Kitchen porter for one of its flagship properties in London – The Crown Hotel. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring a seamless culinary experience for our guests. If you are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is perfect for you! The successful kitchen porter will also be responsible for assisting chefs and other kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks. The candidate should be available to work on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitized
Washing all cooking tools and utensils
Supporting kitchen staff by taking on food prep (peeling and chopping when required)
Stocking and organizing supplies, such as plates, glasses etc.
Following food safety procedures, such as maintaining food temperature and handling food in a hygienic manner
Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management
Prerequisites
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary but an eagerness to learn is
Should be available to work on weekends and bank holidays
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of the team
You must have speed & an eye for detail
Basic Understanding of food safety and hygine practices
Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary: £10.42-£11.42 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

- North London, NW2 3ED: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
