About the role.
We’re looking for a brilliant kitchen designer, salesperson and all round great colleague to join our brand new Guildford store.
The purpose of the role is to meet our customers, establish their needs and create great kitchen designs that they’ll want to buy. We’re definitely not a “hard sales” environment but we of course do need to keep new business coming in, so you’ll be motivated by selling as well as interior design and enjoy being part of a genuinely friendly team.
People that are great in this role are themselves, they build trust, will make sure any snags are managed and resolved and, most importantly, they have great organisational and communication skills.
Frequent tasks include.
- Manage kitchen projects, sales and service (live jobs are assisted by a Project Coordinator).
- Welcome customers into the store and by video qualify them & offer help and advice.
- Arrange customer home visits and in-store video presentations.
- Design kitchens on Winner.
- Hold customer sign-offs, to agree on final specifications and explain key details and events throughout the project.
- Place furniture orders with our suppliers.
- Visit live projects to ensure the design comes to life as you planned and troubleshoot when required.
You and your experience.
To become part of our team you will have a design or sales background in a similar kitchen retail environment and be looking to expand your skills and experience. You should be:
- Highly organised and work in a structured way.
- Authentic with a great personality that enables you to build trust and rapport with your customers and colleagues.
- Experienced in understanding the needs of customers and managing expectations.
- Able to track lots of priorities and deliver on your promises.
- Creative and have a strong eye for detail.
- Motivated to work towards a target.
- Familiar with measurements and dimensions and other technical information.
- Experienced in Winner, design software.
Working hours etc.
Five days per week 8.30 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday/Saturday. If you work a Saturday, a day in lieu is taken the following week.

Salary: £34,200 - 36,200 per year plus profit related bonus
