Job description
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help us provide excellent customer service. The main role will be to run the pot wash section cleaning all cutlery, utensils and cutlery. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the chefs in food preparation, cleaning the kitchen, and helping to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of meals.
- Organise and store food items in the kitchen.
- Ensure that all food is stored correctly and safely.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Assist with dishwashing duties.
