Full Job Description
We are looking for a practically minded individual to join our friendly team at The Barrington Centre.
Responsibilities will include health and safety checks, tests and monitoring, porterage of deliveries, general maintenance and repairs, setting up and clearing of rooms when hire is complete, liaising with both the Customer Service Team and the Centre Manager when on shift and providing any support that is requested while on shift, flexibility to cover in the event of sickness or other enforced absences, to be a keyholder and open or lock up the building as required.
The ideal candidate will be a hard worker and team player, you will need good communication and organisational skills and be able to work to your own initiative. This role will involve lone working and locking up alone at night time.
You will be a key member of a team focused on maintaining a high-quality environment for centre users. This role will involve lifting and moving.
Working Hours: To be discussed at interview. We are happy to discuss hours to suit your circumstances with a minimum 15 hours per week.
Salary: £10.53-£12.66 per hour,depending on skills and experience.
We are looking for a committed team player with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
