We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning and sanitising kitchen areas, stocking supplies, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food.
- Ensure all food items are stored correctly and safely.
- Prepare ingredients for meals according to recipes.
- Assist in the preparation of meals.
- Assist in the cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
- Follow instructions from head chef or sous chef.
